When you're delivering with Deliveroo, you're covered by insurance designed to help protect you while you're on the road. Depending on the circumstances of your claim, your cover may include Public Liability Insurance and Rider Accident Insurance. All cover is subject to the applicable policy terms, conditions, limits and exclusions.
Public Liability Insurance
Public Liability Insurance helps protect you if you accidentally injure another person or damage someone else's property while making deliveries with Deliveroo.
This cover includes:
- Legal liability for accidental bodily injury to a third party.
- Legal liability for accidental damage to a third party's property.

Rider Accident Insurance
If you're injured in an accident while making deliveries with Deliveroo, you may be eligible for the following benefits:
- Accidental Death: AED 500,000
- Permanent Total Disability due to Accident: AED 500,000
- Permanent Partial Disability due to Accident: Up to AED 500,000
- Temporary Total Disability due to Accident: 75% of your daily earnings, up to AED 200 per day, after a 7-day waiting period, for up to 30 days
- Accident Medical Expenses: Up to AED 30,000
- Funeral Expenses: Up to AED 10,000
- Hospital Cash due to Accident: AED 200 per night, for up to 60 days

Who is eligible?
To be covered by Deliveroo insurance, you must:
- Be a resident in the United Arab Emirates.
- Hold an active Deliveroo rider account.
- Be undertaking deliveries through the Deliveroo platform when the insured event occurs (where applicable).
- Meet the eligibility requirements for the benefit being claimed.
